GMP Karate classes are now available at the Hough End Centre Chorlton from 7 to 8 pm.

Classes are free for all PC and Student Officers! (must be a member of the Sports & Social)

Karate instructor Danilo Contiero is a 2 Dan black belt in karate Shotokan. He has competed in many national and international competitions, and he has been training with the Italian Police Karate team in the past. Danilo is also an exercise scientist with years of experience in academic research and teaching on health and physical activity; he has recently submitted his PhD thesis on Adapted Karate for health purposes.

Danilo is training in Manchester with Jordan Thomas, former pluri-world champion and one of the most established Karate athletes in the World. Jordan is occasionally assisting Danilo at the Hough centre as well!
