Northern Police League Summer Trail Race

 •       Single      Fixture – June 2026 – Cheshire TBC

Snowdonia 7’s Mountain Race

This was originally a Police Cadet race and has taken place annually since 1974. The event is organised by North Wales Police, further information can be found at:

http://www.snowdonia7.co.uk or Snowdonia Seven Facebook page

The Snowdonia Seven is undoubtedly the most enjoyable (and challenging) event in the police sporting calendar.

Snowdonia Seven’s still embodies the original ethos of developing ‘Fitness, Teamwork and Endurance’.  To complete the challenge, teams (of 4) must travel 22 miles, over 7 peaks (with a total ascent of almost 8000’) – in under 10 hours, carrying safety kit as detailed in the rules.

The confirmed date for the 2025 event is Saturday 5th July 2025, the event is limited to 50 teams, and we are hoping to get a few teams out again this year – if you are interested please email: athletics@gmp.police.uk advising of current mountain trail running experience, pacing on technical terrain and competence level of self-navigation as this event does not support the use of any GPS devices!
