Airport

The airport sports and social funds a gym which has seen recent improvements and investments. There has been a full ‘hex dumbbell rack’ added with brand new dumbbells and Kettle bells. All of the equipment has been serviced and a rowing machine added along with other accessories. We are currently planning on adding a heavy punch bag with suitable framework to attach it to. Unlike some divisional sports and socials we do not charge an additional fee for this.

As well as the gym the sports and social pays for full sky package including sports and movies. A new pool table and dart board. We have just added a router for officers to connect to for Netflix etc as well as a PS4 and games.

We have just installed a fridge and tuck shop for officers to use at air house.

We are always looking at new ways to improve the sports and social and consider all requests for new equipment etc.
