Booking Instructions and Terms of Use
• The minibus can only be used by members of the Club in connection with a sport or social activity organised for other members of the club upon agreement. Family (honorary members) may also use the bus alongside ‘full’ members. added 10th February 2012: Members must have been paying into the sports and social club for at least 6 months before they are able to book the minibus.
• The bus is used free of charge for members and is not for hire though fuel must be provided by the users or claimed back from Greater Manchester Police Sports & Social Club or Divisional Club if agreed. The mini bus will be passed to the member with a full tank of fuel and MUST be returned the same. added 10th February 2012: A donation towards the maintenance of the minibus may be required if non-members are also travelling on the minibus.

• You will receive an email in return confirming these dates are definitely available to you and an unconfirmed 'block' in the calendar will be placed on the given dates/times you requested.
• Complete the Part 1 'Booking Form' which is at the bottom of this page . Only when all paperwork is completed and returned will the booking be fully confirmed by both sides.
• Report any historical driving accidents or driving convictions in the last five years - These must be referred to Darren Butterfield for insurer scrutiny
• Be over 21
• Have a D1 permit in date on their UK Driving Licence – a copy of each driving licence MUST be sent with the booking form upon initial booking of the minibus
• Be competent to drive a 17 LWB transit minibus - This is a big vehicle and needs to be driven with extreme care if you are unfamiliar with it
• All police/police staff using the facility must be paying members of Greater Manchester Police Sports & Social Club
When Collecting the Vehicle
• The vehicle is collected from The Hough End Centre, Chorlton
• Keys are held by the administration office and/or Duty Manager
• Person booking vehicle to show id to obtain keys
• Park private car in the space that the minibus is taken from to ensure it is not used by other vehicles
• Check the vehicle for damage or faults before use
• Record their journey details in the A4 diary log book that will be located in the minibus
• Ensure the vehicle is left in a clean and tidy condition.
• Diesel Fuel must be provided by the minibus users
• Fuel costs may or may not be claimable from:-
i. Greater Manchester Police Sports & Social Club (if a PSUK or County Sport event)
ii. Divisional Club (if the Divisional Club have agreed to reimburse fuel costs)
During Your Journey
• Read the onboard instructions - this contains useful information about the bus facility including location of tools.
Accidents or Breakdowns
In the event of damage being caused or the unlikely event of a serious accident or breakdown:-
• Faults or punctures before departure – number in glove box
• Major mechanical faults - Contact AA – number in glove box
• Punctures/Flat battery etc - Contact AA – number in glove box
• Contact – Darren Butterfield – 07976 393917 for advice at the time or by email after event
• Greater Manchester Police Sports & Social Club may ask that the occupants contribute toward any damage or repairs that have been caused as a result of user carelessness or negligence – therefore please treat this vehicle with the greatest respect
When Dropping Off Vehicle
• The vehicle must be returned with A FULL TANK OF DIESEL ready for the next user
• Park the vehicle in designated place and leave keys with the Duty Manager who will look over the vehicle before you leave
• Report any faults, damage to the vehicle after use
• Return 'Part 2 Return Form' on completion of your trip to declare users, general comments, faults or damage
