Multi Use Sports Hall

The Hough End Centre offers a wide range of sports from five-a-side football, basketball and badminton, all of which are offered at very competitive prices. Use of equipment is free, you just pay for the space you use. e.g. 1 Hour Rental for 5 A-Side = only £30. 1 Badminton court for 1 hour = £7.

Racquet Sports

The leisure complex also houses two squash courts, there is a squash team for the more experienced player or if you are just looking to improve your game why not enjoy yourself whilst getting fit at the same time. Again costs are low, all you pay for is the lighting which is metered. Most players spend no more than a couple of £’s per game.

Cardio Zone

Cardio vascular exercise is an invaluable part of a complete fitness workout. The Hough End Centre offers a wide range of equipment including steppers, bikes, rowers and treadmills that will keep your workout full of variety and new challenges. Take the strain out of exercise by watching TV or listening to music provided.

Weights /Toning Gym

Toning is the ideal way to firm up your body whatever your age or level of fitness. The toning equipment focuses on individual areas and muscle groups and is a great way to exercise those problem areas.

Grounds

The Hough End Centre is set in it's own grounds and due to current building work on the new metro link system has only 1, of it's 2 full size football pitches in operation. This pitch can be hired by prior arrangement and subject to weather conditions.. A bowling green is also available with no rental charge for members, and with woods provided, so why not try something different.

Snooker Room

2 Full size Snooker tables are kept in a high condition for the general use of members. Please note that children under 14 are not allowed to use the tables, with or without members/parents present.
