Over 1,000 people from across the UK are expected to take part in Europe’s first Urbanathlon, an urban foot race, which will be held for the first time in East Manchester on Sunday 13th July.

Charity Runs
Dear Friends,
I am
writing to invite you to take part in two race that we are organising in East
Manchester.
The first
event is the Clayton Vale Trail which takes place on Saturday 29th March at
11.00am.
The is a
good course and although it has not been measured by UKA, I measured it this
morning
and course is spot on 5k.
Our second
race sees the return of the B of the Bang 10k. taking place on 25th May at
10.00am.
There
is also a junior run starting at 9.15am. Entry for the junior run is £3.00, £4
on the day. This goes
to
Cerebral Palsy. Very popular fist time round and the first 10k road race to be
held at Sportcity, Manchester.
This event
is off road and stays within the grounds of Sportcity taking in the B of the
Bang sculpture,
City of
Manchester Stadium and Joe Mercer Way.
This is
another great course, you can actually watch the race as your doing it.
